I traveled Bali for nearly three weeks with a few of my friends. Its an amazingly beautiful country and is the only place I've ever been in the world where not a single palm tree seemed landscaped.

We stayed in Ubud traveling the country and joining in local customs, and then went to Kuta to enjoy the nightlife and meet up with some other friends.

Bali is a popular tourist destination for Australians, and is home to some of the most amazing memories of my life.

I stayed in Fiji for four days with all of my best friends from Australia. We were lucky enough to stay at the Bounty Island Resort, an extremely small island off the coast of Nadi, the main Fijian island.

The view from our island was breathtaking, crystal clear blue waters with little islands peppering the horizon. It was the last leg of my trip, and an amazing place to spend my last few days abroad.

I studied abroad in Perth, Western Australia for nearly six months of my junior year in College. Most of the pictures in this section are from a camping trip I took through Northwest Australia and from my vacation to Margaret River.

Australians are the nicest people I've ever met, and I can't wait to return to Perth someday. If you're ever there make sure to stop by Jester's Jaffle Pie Company. They have 32 locations in WA alone.

Three friends and I hopped a budget flight to Madrid for spring break of my freshman year of college. Most of us had never left the United States before and this was quite a trip to have planned only a few weeks before.

I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked because we spent most of our time enjoying the lowered drinking age at the pubs around Madrid. There was, however, the occasional chance to see us out and around town before our mid afternoon naps.

I am originally from Maryland having grown up in Owings Mills, just northwest of Baltimore City.

Most of my earlier photography was focused on these beautiful East Coast States, downtown Baltimore and Annapolis, the Appalachian Mountains, the Chesapeake Bay, Ocean City and Bethany Beach, DE.

The Outer Banks, NC, is a popular destination for people from all over the East Coast.

Some of my friends have lived and worked down there during the summer for years, and my family has taken a few trips there for holidays and family reunions. It's a beautiful place to photograph.

Nothing's harder than capturing the true spirit that people carry, or the essence of an event through its participants.

This section of photographs is a compilation of some portraits, some candids, and some random pictures of people I've encountered. I hope you can see some of what they were thinking and feeling through my photographs of them.

One of my favorite things to photograph are sporting events. I started shooting sports as the Photography Editor of my high school newspaper, 'The Page.'

Most of the photographs in this section are from sporting events involving my high school, St. Paul's School in Brooklandville, MD.

All of these photographs are from various articles for 'The Page.' They aren't necessarily that interesting out of context, as it was rare for something truly exciting to happen on my high school campus, but I hope they bring back some memories for my friends who were involved.

These pictures are from all over the place. There are some experimental shots and prints, colorizations, negatives, solorizations, etc.

Some of my most interesting pictures have come from situations that I never would have expected.

Pure chance and lucky timing sometimes get me a great shot of something in a way that no one has ever seen it before. But, every once in a while experience gets me something spectacular!
