Endless Fiji

Beach Coral

Water has probably been washing over this coral for hundreds of years.
Awakenings

I was awakened my last day in Fiji to the deep purples and reds of sunrise.

What amazed me most was the contrast between day and night, and the brilliance of the stars.

It only lasted for a minute and by the time I snapped this picture it was gone. It was one of the most amazing sights of my life.

Leisurely Jog

Hammocks were limitless on our island, so I couldn’t help but capture this fellow going for an afternoon run.

The island was so small that a runner could make it around in less than ten minutes.

Sunrise #1

I took a whole roll of film before I sat down to enjoy my first of two sunrises I'd see that day.

After watching the sun set later that day, we crossed the international date line on our way back home.

It rose again through the window of our plane, and finally set for good over the Pacific Ocean in San Diego.

Morning Coral

True Story

Who knew that dinosaurs had roamed the islands of Fiji millions of years before I would.
